Challenges & solutions

What made this project difficult

Remediation on an occupied block is as much a coordination problem as a construction one.

Managing multiple contractors

ASG coordinated several specialist contractors, each responsible for different parts of the project, keeping the programme aligned across every trade.

Reducing resident disruption

The work was completed in phases so that residents could continue living in their apartments throughout the renovation.

Regulatory compliance

ASG worked with local authorities and fire-safety services to ensure the completed work met relevant building and fire-safety standards.

Project outcomes

What the completed project delivered

Safer environment

A safer and more secure residential environment for everyone living in the block.

Better energy efficiency

Improved thermal performance through new, energy-efficient window units.

Lower maintenance costs

Reduced expected maintenance spend across the building’s key elements.

Increased property value

A stronger asset position for the apartment owners within the block.

Regulatory compliance

Compliance with applicable building and fire-safety requirements.

Residents kept in place

Phased delivery meant no decant people stayed in their homes throughout.
